Divine Perennialism, or "Diamond Theology," is the belief that all forms of mysticism, religious tradition, theology and faith are each expressing the same ultimate truth, personalized for various geographies, languages and eras.
An Interfaith Minister follows a varied, or eclectic, combination of multiple religious and spiritual traditions. For example, I am ordained through the Universal Life Church and my theology is Divine Perennialist. As discussed above, this excludes no traditions and no narratives of mysticism, divinity, theology and faith.
I've been reading Tarot, Oracle cards and Runes for twenty years. In that time, I have never found another tool that rides the shadow's edge between the mythic and the mundane, psychological inquiries that we all encounter. With every reading I do, for myself or a stranger, I remind all parties that the story is not absolute but a verb, an action being created as we go along, gaining deeper insight on every re-reading.
When I began studying and practicing Reiki, I had no intention of practicing professionally. In fact, I can honestly say, I wasn't even sold on the notion that it would work. But I was in a bad place, and I found that it helped me too much to not offer what I've learned to others.
